A Weiss began designing + handcrafting animal pillows with her young daughter in 2009. During a cross-country move, she was inspired by western landscapes to create her original mountain pillows. Amanda uses heirloom quality Pendleton® wool to produce landscape pillows and sculptural cushions in all shapes + sizes. @threebadseeds

For 15 years, they split their time between the Puget Sound and the Mojave Desert. In 2026 they settled into a little studio in Arizona's Joshua Tree Forest, between the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
